About me
My name is Maja and I want to share my journey with you.
For a year, I dove deep into self-study and completed several courses, including the Google UX Design Certificate, all while managing a full-time job at a multinational law company. My passion for UX/UI Design was undeniable, and after 5 years in marketing, I took the plunge to pursue it full-time. I quit my job and spent a few more months on further education and job hunting.
Soon I gained my first freelance projects and earned valuable experience. Now, with almost 3 years of commercial experience as
a UX/UI Designer in an IT company, I specialize in designing websites and mobile applications that balance users’ needs with business goals. Thanks to my background in marketing, close collaboration with project managers, and experience as a product owner, I understand how to create user-centered solutions that also support business objectives.
On a more personal note, I bring over 10 years of experience in drawing, painting, illustration, and photography. This creative background has not only enriched my design sensibility and passion for aesthetics, but also broadened my horizons and deepened my eagerness to learn.
